Friday, October 30: The famous cult film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, will be shown at the Gem Theater, Friday from 8 pm to 10 pm, presented by Bethel Area Arts and Music.  It's a pay what you can admission.  Come dressed in your best Halloween costume and strut across the stage during the costume parade. Goodie bags will be provided. No fresh fruit to be thrown at the screen!

Friday, October 30:  Norway is celebrating its Halloween on Friday with a Halloween Festival from 2 to 5 pm for trick or treat on Main Street, with stores and organizations providing treats.

Saturday, October 31:  In Fryeburg, Saturday, there's an outing to view the Sand Hill Cranes on the Saco River.  The group meets at 8 am at Fryeburg Academy, 745 Main St., Fryeburg, and then heads out to viewing sites. It's free and sponsored by the Mahoosuc Land Trust. Each year, a flock of up to 50 of these stately birds gathers in the fields to feed before continuing their migration south. A History of Logging in New England, written for middle-grade readers. This program is presented by the Western Mountains Senior College, and is free and open to the public.
